At the time the 911
system was put in effect everyone was asked to place their new house numbers in a
highly visible location. Many of you have made these changes but we are still having
problems locating some homes.
To help alleviate this problems please be sure
that:
1. You place your new 911 house number in a location that is highly
visible from the road.
2. Be sure all numbers are 4 - 6 inches in height.
3.
Numbers need to be seen at night. Please be sure they are reflective.
4.
Place your numbers on your house or on a post at the end of your driveway. Putting
them on a mailbox is fine if your mailbox is at the end of your driveway, if it's
not it may result in a delay in finding your house.
Please remember that if
the Police, Fire or Ambulance Depts. can't find you, we can't help you.
